About Me
Hi there, my name is James and I am an experienced accounting professional. Growing up, I always had a love for numbers and problem-solving. More importantly, I have always enjoyed helping others learn.
I currently work full-time in finance for a large organization but in my spare time, I provide in-home tutoring services to students of all ages. I have experience assisting students at all levels of education, including elementary thru high school and some introductory university-level courses.
I am:

- criminal record check cleared (vulnerable sector)
- experienced working with children and teens
- former volunteer Big Brother with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada
- member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA)
- honest, even tempered and reliable
- patient and calm under pressure
I understand that math can be very intimidating, and not everyone has an affinity for numbers, like I do. Often times, we let math processes intimidate us and cause us to over-complicate things. My approach is simple and straightforward, and most importantly, I make the process as stress-free as possible.
